A Place Where Toddlers Feel Safe, Loved, and Ready to Explore

Families want their toddlers to feel safe, loved, and supported as they explore the world. Enrolling a toddler in childcare and early-education is an act of trust.

That’s why Yolene, a Woburn resident, says she keeps coming back to the Elizabeth Peabody House (EPH). Yolene’s older children started attending EPH programs before the family moved to Woburn. “EPH takes care of kids so well,” she explains. “The programs are clean and safe. The staff make sure kids learn what they need for the future.” When it was time to enroll her youngest in childcare, the EPH Toddler Program was an easy choice. “I want to make sure my kid is safe,” Yolene shares. “Because of that, I love EPH.”

When you first walk in, our Toddler Center feels more like a home than school or a daycare. The space features polished hardwood floors, soft lights, and plush furniture. Every detail is carefully curated to spark curiosity and inspire exploration-based learning. The program includes spaces to run and climb, build with blocks, explore sensory materials, or curl up with a good book. Guided by Neighborhood Village’s toddler curriculum, activities and lessons are tailored to each child’s unique needs.

We support the children enrolled in our program by observing, assessing what they know, and engaging them in learning through play,‘ shares Sandra Pavia, EPH Toddler Program Director. “We love that toddlers in our care will ask for resources and then we see them using those resources in their daily life. It becomes part of their routine and we see them learn and grow as they pick up new information and skills.”

Anastasia also chose the EPH Toddler Program due to her experience with other EPH programs. “My daughter went to the EPH preschool program and we were super happy with that. Super comfortable, super safe, lots of love.” When she needed to enroll her youngest in childcare, the EPH Toddler program was her first choice.

Anastasia’s son started late in the school year, and she appreciates how EPH helped her family through the transition. “They’ve been amazing and helped us navigate the process. No judgment, no nothing, just super chill.” She was impressed by how “seriously, ridiculously fast” her son became comfortable with the educators and administrative staff. “It was amazing. We forget that sometimes we just let our kids go do a fun thing and hang out with their friends. Then they come home and tell us stories.

Stories like Yolene’s and Anastasia’s show how positive a nurturing, attentive toddler care program can be for young children.
