Natavia (Tavi) Boquet-Sheers, Group Leader, EPH Afterschool Program

Tavi is an alumnus of EPH’s Preschool and Afterschool Programs. In August 2023, she joined our staff as an Afterschool Group Leader. For the past two years, her dedication to our community and strong work ethic has shone through in her work. This spring, Tavi graduated from Bunker Hill Community College with a certificate in Sterile Processing. We are delighted that she plans to continue working at EPH as she decides on the next step in her career.

We’ve had the privilege of watching Tavi, Deja, Anderson, and Alex grow, learn, and succeed. They’ve grown into exceptional young people—nurtured by the support, education, and care that define our community. We thank them for choosing to continue including us in their journey to adulthood. We can’t wait to see what they’ll accomplish next!

As an organization, we know the positive impact alumni have as staff and volunteers. EPH alumni who return as staff or volunteers serve as role models and mentors to our students. They understand the community our students come from because it’s their community, too. Their achievements inspire the next generation of students to imagine future opportunities. This positive influence ripples from students to their families and beyond, creating multigenerational social bonds and strengthening our community.

We are proud of all EPH alumni, and are deeply touched when they choose to give back by joining our work to enable more children and families to succeed.
